The MV30 Studio M is a table top module combining a sequencer with a built in sound module & digital effects.

The tone generator features
Roland RS-PCM sound source with time variant Filters as in the D70 including self resonance
with selectable low pass, high pass and band pass filters.
The internal sounds are very similar to the U20/U220 family and the MV30 can accept SNU110 PCM rom cards via two card slots. The MV30 tone generator is 8 channel multi-timbral and also includes 8 different types of digital reverb/delay and five different types of chorus. There are 8 assignable sliders on the front panel providing a "midi mixer" function for real time control of parameters, and two sets of stereo outputs are provided.
MV30 - list $2395.
CR-80 - List $750. A preset drum machine, the CR-80 features 16 bit drum samples with Roland Us Rhuman feel S function. A total of 69 sounds are built in, including rock sets, jazz brush sounds, latin percussion, and sounds from the original Roland TR808 (electronic sounds). The Rhuman feelS function adds subtle changes in tonality (adjustable from dedicated slider on front panel). There are 36 styles available, each with 4 variations for a total of 144 possible patterns. Additional patterns will be available as well. Additional features include fill in, auto fill, break - one or two measure break, intro/ending, and fade in/out. A 4 song memory is available for arranging up to 500 parts per song. Midi includes in/out and the CR-80 is 12 note polyphonic.
